Following its driver win in the F1 Sim Racing World Championship, Alpine Sim Racing has announced it will be one of the feature partners of ‘The Grid’ at The British Motor Show, a new dynamic, interactive feature celebrating the cutting edge of motorsport, gaming and technology.
Alpine Sim Racing’s Otis Lawrence became the youngest champion in history at 18 years old by winning the F1 Sim Racing World Championship on 28 May 2026. The team also achieved P2 in the Constructors’ Championship, just three points behind winners Red Bull.
As part of this exciting collaboration, Alpine Sim Racing will bring its world-class virtual racing experience to the heart of the show. Visitors will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of state-of-the-art racing simulators, delivering the precision, intensity, and thrill of competitive sim racing in a fully immersive environment.
Across the event, Alpine Sim Racing will host a fastest lap competition, with participants competing for top positions on a live leaderboard. Adding to the excitement, guests can look forward to appearances from members of the Alpine Sim Racing team, offering fans a chance to meet professional sim racers and gain insight into the world of esports competition.
In addition to the track action, Alpine will also showcase its esports presence alongside Formula 1 livery show cars, giving visitors a unique opportunity to experience both the virtual and physical sides of modern motorsport.
