Global boutique smart NEV brand LINKTOUR Automobile made its UK debut, premiering its brand and ALUMI model line-up at The British Motor Show 2026.
The launch marks a major milestone in the Chinese company’s European expansion and its mission to redefine urban mobility through intelligent, design-led electric vehicles, following recent launches in Benelux, Italy, France, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt, Norway and Cambodia.
Following its successful debut at IAA Mobility 2025 and initial rollout across key European markets, LINKTOUR is now introducing its next-generation compact electric ALUMI vehicles to UK audiences, with plans to bring the range to UK roads in 2026.
UK Public Premiere and Strategic Expansion
LINKTOUR premieres to the UK public today at The British Motor Show 2026, taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre from 21–23 August 2026. The British Motor Show brings together leading automotive brands, emerging technologies and live experiences, celebrating the past, present and future of motoring.
The UK represents a critical next step in LINKTOUR’s European growth strategy. As demand for compact, sustainable mobility solutions continues to rise, the company aims to offer a compelling alternative to traditional urban transport, particularly for younger drivers, city commuters and multi-vehicle households.
“LINKTOUR is not just introducing new models to the UK; we are introducing a new way of thinking about urban mobility,” said Leon Zheng, Vice President Sales & Marketing, LINKTOUR. “Our goal is to create smart, stylish and sustainable commuting experiences that seamlessly integrate into UK city life.”
This year, LINKTOUR Automobile will bring three model configurations into the UK market, the ALUMI and ALUMI Pro in the L6e category, and the ALUMI ELITE+ in the L7e category.
A New Era of Urban Mobility Premieres in the UK
LINKTOUR’s UK premiere introduces a new category of ultra-compact, fully electric vehicles designed for modern city living. The company’s flagship ALUMI L-series models, including the ALUMI and ALUMI Pro (L6e) and ALUMI ELITE+ (L7e), have been engineered to meet the evolving needs of urban drivers by combining distinctive design, compact dimensions, smart connectivity and sustainable materials.
Built on an advanced lightweight all-aluminium platform with the world’s first cell-to-body battery integration technology in the L-series, ALUMI has been developed to deliver enhanced efficiency, safety and agility, ideal for navigating the UK’s urban environments.
The all-aluminium monocoque is up to 45% lighter than a traditional steel structure, supporting responsive everyday driving and efficient performance.
- Up to 120 km range for the L6e (WMTC)
- Up to 180 km range for the L7e (WMTC)
- 0–50 km/h in 5.5 seconds in S-mode (L7e)
Peak torque of 95 N.m helps the ALUMI L-series achieve 0–50 km/h in 5.5 seconds and deliver steady climbing power, supported by Hill Start Assist (HAC) for greater control on steep UK roads.
With key figures tailored for city-centre use and the ability to charge via standard home outlets, the vehicles offer a practical and accessible solution for everyday commuting.
Design-Led Innovation Meets Personal Expression
Inside the cockpit, digitally integrated touchscreen displays, smartphone connectivity and remote vehicle management support a seamless, intelligent driving experience aligned with today’s connected lifestyles.
At the heart of LINKTOUR’s proposition is a commitment to design innovation and personalisation. Features such as the brand’s unique “Art Window” enable drivers to customise their vehicle’s exterior with digital graphics or branding, transforming each car into a platform for self-expression or mobile advertising.
This design-forward approach has already earned international recognition, including the 2026 Red Dot Award, iF Design Award and German Design Award, reinforcing LINKTOUR’s position as a rising global innovator in electric mobility and design.
