The British Army is set to make an exciting return to The British Motor Show 2026 this August, bringing with it a dynamic and immersive village packed with challenges, technology, and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages. Exclusive discounts for Blue Light Card members

This year’s Army presence promises to be bigger and more interactive than ever, featuring a packed line-up of crowd favourites and new attractions. Among the highlights is the ever-popular Hang Tough Challenge, testing strength, endurance, and determination, alongside the high-speed BATAK reaction test, where visitors can push their reflexes to the limit. At the Combat Stand, attendees will have a rare opportunity to feel and hold real military weapons, offering a unique, up-close insight into Army equipment and training.

Entertainment will also take centre stage, with live performances from the Army Ensemble, delivering energy and atmosphere throughout the event. Motorsport enthusiasts can explore British Army Motorsports, meeting racing soldiers and seeing camo-wrapped machines that combine military precision with high-performance engineering.

Returning by popular demand, the double-decker MEC Sim Bus will offer free racing simulators, giving guests the chance to experience the thrill of high-speed driving in a safe, virtual environment. For those interested in science and engineering, the STEM zone will provide engaging science and engineering experiences. From 3D printing demonstrations and insights into Apache helicopter engines to kart-building activities and hands-on engineering challenges, the zone aims to inspire the next generation of innovators.

Throughout the show, serving soldiers will be on hand to share their experiences and highlight the wide range of opportunities available within the Army, including apprenticeships, sports, adventure training, and careers with great pay and even greater possibilities.
